Biomes of the World
Here your team will choose a new environment for your animal. Choose from the list of biomes below, then using your previous knowledge on biomes and the custom search engine below, research the environmental characteristics. Again, remember these can be abiotic (nonliving) and biotic (living). Record your findings and adaptations on Chart 2 in your Journal.
Biomes:
Tundra Grasslands Chaparral Savanna(h) Aquatic (Fresh/Salt)
Tiaga Deciduous Forest Desert Rainforest
Tundra Grasslands Chaparral Savanna(h) Aquatic (Fresh/Salt)

Use the custom search engine below to research characteristics of the environment in which you choose to put your animal. Then give it adaptations to survive (review the instructions on the Secondary Animal, page if necessary).
Congratulations!
You have now finished the Expedition! Return to Base Camp to share your findings with the rest of the Wildlife Explorers and the Expedition Leader. Be prepared to share your new species and turn in your Journal. Thanks for joining in on Expedition Adaptation Exploration!
